Arrest Report - July 21, 2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 44 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Shawn Boudreaux, 38, 179 Martin Road, Centerville, LA was arrested on July 20, 2017 at 9:12 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of criminal trespassing and disturbing the peace (intoxication). A deputy located Boudreaux at his residence on the warrant and transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.

 

Malik Parker, 20, 4850 Klug’s Pine Lot 45, Shreveport, LA was arrested on July 20, 2017 at 11:28 am on a State of Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections Division of Probation and Parole warrant for probation violation. A deputy located Parker at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin on the warrant and transported him to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.

  

Adrienne Maze, 35, 451 Wilson Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on July 20, 2017 at 4:31 pm for the following offenses:

  • Following too closely
  • Expired driver’s license
  • No driver’s license on person
  • No motor vehicle insurance

A detective conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for following another vehicle too closely. The traffic stop investigation was turned over to a patrol deputy. Maze was found to be operating the vehicle with an expired driver’s license and no insurance. Maze was released on a summons to appear in court on October 11, 2017.

 

April Phillips, 37, 1504 Main Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 21, 2017 at 9:51 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting) and resisting an officer (giving false information).

 

Tasha Soprano, 37, 113 Locust Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 20, 2017 at 9:51 pm for disturbing the peace (fighting).

 

Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in progress at a residence on St, Joseph Lane in Franklin. Deputies collected evidence that Phillips and Soprano engaged in a physical fight during an argument. Deputies also found that Phillips initially gave a false name. Both subjects were transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. Phillips’ bail is set at $3,500. Bail for Soprano is set at $1,000.

 

 

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that the Narcotics Section made the following arrests:

 

Leslie Wright, 52, 5108 Hallmarc Drive, Farmington, NM was arrested on July 20, 2017 at 11:59 am for display of license plate violation, possession of Schedule I (marijuana), and possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance. Detectives of the Narcotics Section observed a vehicle with an obstructed license plate and conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 90 in Centerville. Detectives identified the driver as Wright. While speaking with her, detectives smelled the strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Detectives received consent to search the car and located marijuana, a handgun, and a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana. Wright was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.

 

Marilyn Davis, 63, 187 Marcotte Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on July 20, 2017 at 3:17 pm for the following offenses:

  • Possession of Schedule IV (clonazepam)
  • Possession of Legend Drug (cyclobenzaprine) without a prescription
  • Possession of Legend Drug (promethazine) without a prescription
  • Possession of Legend Drug (amlodipine) without a prescription

Narcotics detectives conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 90 in Centerville after observing a driver cross over the centerline several times without changing lanes. Detectives identified a passenger in the vehicle as Davis. During the traffic stop investigation, detectives received consent to search Davis’ purse and located numerous pills. Davis was unable to provide prescriptions for the pills. Davis was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.
