Arrest Report September 29, 2014

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 72 hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 97 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Leroy Bailey, 29, 1400 N. Third Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on September 27, 2014 at 6:48 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of theft of goods. A deputy patrolling the Morgan City area made contact with Bailey and learned of the active warrant for his arrest. The deputy transported Bailey to the parish jail for booking. No bail is set.

 

Susana Hernandez, 28, 233 Southwest Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on September 28, 2014 at 9:52 pm for animal cruelty. A deputy responded to a report of possible animal cruelty at residence on Southwest Road. Upon arrival, the deputy observed a dog with open wounds and patches of fur missing. During the course of the investigation, the deputy identified the owner of the animal as Hernandez and determined that the animal was not being properly cared for. The dog was turned over to animal control. Hernandez was released on a summons to appear in court on November 24, 2014.

 

Tanner Aucoin, 18, 710 Carline Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on September 28, 2014 at 2:14 pm for remaining where forbidden. A deputy responded to a request to remove a subject from a residence on Columbus Drive in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Aucoin who had been advised during a previous complaint that he was not to return to the residence. The deputy transported Aucoin to the parish jail for booking. He was later released on a summons to appear in court on November 24, 2014.
