Arrest Report - June 27, 2017

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that the Narcotics Section made the following arrests:

 

Andy Nguyen, 22, 3214 Roselawn Drive, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 26, 2017 at 3:40 pm for the following offenses:

  • Possession of Schedule I (marijuana) with intent to distribute)
  • Possession of Schedule I (tetrahydrocannabinol oil) with intent to distribute
  • Transactions involving drug proceeds
  • Possession of Schedule II (Adderall)
  • Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a minor
  • Violation of a uniform controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)
  • Manufacturing of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) oil edibles

 

Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Section conducted a search warrant at Nguyen’s residence. Morgan City Police assisted at the scene. During the search, detectives located individually packaged bags of marijuana, multiple containers of THC oil, homemade puffed rice treats containing THC oil, and over $500 in cash. While searching Nguyen’s vehicle, detectives also found over 2 dozen Adderall pills. Through investigation, detectives found evidence that selling the illegal drugs. A juvenile was at the residence at the time of the investigation. The residence is located near a playground and church. Nguyen was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

Laura Leftwich, 32, 205 Jones Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on June 26, 2017 at 10:37 pm for the following offenses:

  • Possession of MDMA with intent to distribute
  • Possession of Schedule II (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute
  • Possession of Schedule I (marijuana)
  • Possession of Schedule II (buprenorphine)
  • Possession of Schedule IV (lorazepam)
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile
  • Violation of a uniform controlled dangerous substance law (drug free zone)

 

Shea Saujon, 27, 3127 Wytchwood Drive, Morgan City, LA was arrested on June 26, 2017 at 10:37 pm for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics detectives conducted a search warrant at Leftwich’s residence and located MDMA pills, methamphetamine, glass pipes, scales, other pills and items of drug paraphernalia. A juvenile was at the residence at the time of the investigation with Leftwich and Saujon. Saujon was released on a summons to appear in court on September 8, 2017. Leftwich was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. No bail is set.

 

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert advises that over the last 24-hour reporting period, the Sheriff’s Office responded to 45 complaints and reports the following arrests:

 

Christopher Guidry, 25, 3201 South Frontage Road, Centerville, LA was arrested on June 26, 2017 at 2:53 pm for theft of goods. Deputies responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. A deputy learned that the suspect had exited the store and was running through the parking lot. Another deputy detained the male suspect and identified him as Guidry. Guidry admitted to deputies that he stole several items from the store. The stolen goods were recovered from his pants pockets. Guidry was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. He was released on a summons to appear in court on September 8, 2017.

 

Ryan Bergeron, 28, 4477 Boquet Street, Bourg, LA was arrested on June 26, 2017 at 2:39 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of improper turning and operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant for Bergeron’s arrest. Bergeron was released on a $750 bond.

 

Kirsh Daniel, 48, 421 Saddlebrook Court, Covington, LA was arrested on June 26, 2017 at 3:28 pm for speeding and operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license. A deputy observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on US Highway 90 in Bayou Vista and conducted a traffic stop. The deputy spoke with the driver, Daniel, and found that he was operating the vehicle with a suspended license. Daniel was released on a summons to appear in court on September 8, 2017.

 

Henry Truelove, Jr., 32, 132 Grey Eagle Road, Charenton, LA was arrested on June 26, 2017 at 5:34 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of possession of (open) alcoholic beverages in motor vehicles, operating a vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, no motor vehicle insurance, careless operation of a motor vehicle, and other offenses. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant for Truelove’s arrest. Bail is set at $3,000.

 

Amber Bleiler, 38, 2116 Becnel Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on June 26, 2017 at 6:31 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. During booking at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center, a correctional officer located the active warrant for Bleiler’s arrest. No bail is set.

 

Summer Billiot, 32, 106 Southeast Boulevard, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on June 26, 2017 at 7:07 pm for theft of goods, remaining where forbidden, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, and resisting an officer by giving false information. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. After speaking with store security, the deputy made contact with the female suspect later identified as Billiot. Billiot initially gave the deputy a false name. The deputy collected evidence that Billiot attempted to leave the store without paying for items. A juvenile was with Billiot when she attempted to steal the goods. Billiot had been previously banned from the store. She was transported to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking. During booking, a correctional officer found that the suspect had given a false name and identified her as Billiot. No bail is set.
