The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a theft of a boat and trailer. The boat was stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Jupiter Street in Bayou Vista Monday morning. According to surveillance video collected from the neighborhood, the boat and trailer was taken at approximately 3:00 am Monday. The perpetrators traveled in a light colored pick-up truck from Jupiter to Delmar and then made a left turn onto Highway 90 heading east with the stolen property. The boat is described as a 24 foot Carolina Skiff outfitted with a 250 horsepower Yamaha outboard motor.
